2. Data Usage & Purpose

- Deliver and personalize the news feed based on your interests.
- Facilitate user interactions (comments, likes, follows).
- Monitor and improve app performance and stability.
- Display relevant advertisements provided by third-party networks (e.g., Google AdMob).
3. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your data only for as long as necessary to provide our services. You have complete control over your data:
- Account Deletion: You can permanently delete your account and all associated data directly within the app by navigating to Profile > Settings > Account > Delete Account.
- Web Deletion Request: If you cannot access the app, you may request data deletion by emailing kenyabreakingnewske@gmail.com.
- Immediate Removal: Upon deletion, all personal identifiers, interaction history, and favorites are purged from our primary databases within 30 days.
4. Third-Party Services
We work with trusted third-party providers who may process your data according to their own privacy policies:
- Firebase: Backend infrastructure and database hosting.
- Google Play Services: Core app functionality and authentication.
- Firebase: Analytics and crash reporting.

5. Children's Privacy
Kenya Breaking News is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware of such data collection, we will take immediate steps to delete it.
